Secretly Not Here Any More Posted Jul 1, 2003
Hmm, this is just a list of places. What you want is detail. What the places are, why you should go, maybe why you wouldn't. And you missed out the stadium tour of Elland Road!
Good framework, but this needs a lot of work!

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Jul 1, 2003
Have you read the Writing-Guidelines Angelic Witch? These three entries of yours need much more work before they can be considered for editing, and as such they shouldn't be submitted to Peer Review yet.
An entry about places to go in a town or city needs descriptions of the places listed (prices, clientele, opening hours), will most likely be divided into sections covering sports, pubs, clubs, museums, etc, and might even include directions to the places or as many as can be described.
And it should all be in one entry - if you have to break it up into three seperate entries then it's too long and should be treated as individual entries about different types of venue or place to go.

Perhaps there could be some sort of combining of efforts to write articles about Leeds here: F74130?thread=291209

I saw this in PR and since I'm actually on Holidays in England, I thought "Great! Things to do!". But there aren't any descriptions.

I don't think she can hear you anymore as AngelicWitch has unsubscribed from this thread -- why do so many people do that
I don't see this entry progressing any further, despite the author still being on site and happily running around the LD areas. Can I suggest a move back to entry?

Ah-ha! Finally I've got you.
The problem as I've stated elsewhere is that all you have is a list of places. You've included no content about these places at all.
My suggestion is that you combine the content from parts 2 & 3 here into part 2, then take parts 2 and 3 out of Peer Review. This is because running three simultaneous Peer Review threads on the same sunject is going to get complicated . Also I don't know whether when you've added the full content about these places to visit the entry will be large enough for 3 separate guide entries - it might be, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
Now with regard to the content. I can think of no better example of a description of a city than Ormondroyd's fine entry about the city of Bradford - A617401 - this will give you a good idea of the kind of thing that the editors are looking for from a Guide Entry.
Hope that helps

I think grey Desk meant to advise you you put the content of Parts 2 and 3 into part 1 and then remove Parts 2 and 3 from Peer Review. If you were on a PC this would be simple - you could just cut and paste. But you're on a digibox so it's probably best to just take Parts 2 and 3 out of Peer Review using the links I'll provide in a later post and put the content of those pages into A989544 by hand at a later date.
While I'm figuring out the removal links for Parts 2 and 3, you could write what you already know about each of the places you've listed in A989544 and then other Leeds residents, like myself, can chip in what we know in this thread.

I live in the north of Leeds.
I'm confused by what the h2g2 Editors have done to your Peer Review threads. I'll be back in a mo when I've figured out what's going on.

OK. Parts 2 and 3 are still in Peer Review and need to be removed now. To do this, click on each of these links in turn.

Part 1 (A989544) is no longer in Peer Review. This is good . It isn't ready to be in Peer Review yet. When it is ready you will be able to resubmit it. But until then we can carry on giving suggestings for the article by posting in THIS thread.
