A display for after the parade?

I was just thinking that it would be fun and neat to showcase all the floats from past and present parades on a page... it would prolly want to be a plaintext page to allow for easier copying, what do you all think?

I had thought of adding them to the main Krewe of H2G2 page...A983324 hopefully to attract more interest next year.

Good idea. If anyone can make a nice frog chariot for me, I'd be very grateful.

Galen,
I haven't done all of the Guide ML parts(links to researchers pages and stuff) but, take a look at the main page...is this what you had in mind?
Bob,
I have a frog table smiley...(don't ask where the idea came from...same place as the table smiley originated). It won't show in a conversation, but it will show in Guide ML on the exhibit page.

The sheep wouldn't stay in place and kept moving so I used the . The towel float was the most difficult. Originally the fringe was> on the left and < on the right. I kept getting all sorts of error messages(wrong closing tag, expecting....) until I switched the >and< for X instead. On the chariot I had to balance the smileys using the < space> because otherwise the outline isn't even. If Bob would like the smileys to be exchanged it can work as long as it is symetrical. Of course, the problem may have been doing all of that in one night...after work and before .

sounds complex... i think there is a way to get it to treat everything as plain text, not as html or guideml, i'll look into it....

It's good of you to have gone to all this work for me. Thanks.

Galen,
I am by no means familiar with all the tags of Guide ML, let alone HTML. Any help to make it easier to use would be apreciated. There is something that I would like to know how to do... Over here A811577 is a bunch of the table smileys that I made using the Smiley Creator. Thing is every time I paste the text codes the smileys line up on the left margin. How can they be re positioned?
Bob,
You're welcome. It was no trouble at all. The frog smiley was already in my smiley gallery(the link above). It only took a couple of minutes to figure out which smileys were the same size. Changing them isn't a problem either if it is done in pairs, or just the center smiley in a row.
Are we parading this weekend?
