I agree with you on the Libertines count.
Flogging Molly are an Irish folk/ punk band, if you like the folkier side of Led Zeppelin, Like Bron- Yr- Aur Stomp, you'll definately like them.

http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll
Actually AllMusic.com are very useful for that sort of thing, they are full of information. I found out about the Killing Joke album that way.

They're very useful actually, I've spent many an hour happily perusing band information. I think there may be allmovie.com and allgame.com as well.

So I could look up *any* band?
I want to join The Young Researchers Club!
Researcher 185550 Posted Oct 6, 2003
Theoretically yes. As long as they're on there. And if they're not, write it up.

You can write it up?
I want to join The Young Researchers Club!
Researcher 185550 Posted Oct 6, 2003
As far as I know, yes. And if there's something wrong or inaccurate or incomplete in a band's entry, you can correct. And there are album convers and track lists and discographies.

What's there to stop malicious people deleting it all?

Researcher 185550 Posted Oct 6, 2003
You can only suggest corrections, which will then be added (or not). In the same way that you can't just go and delete a guide entry on hootoo.

It's very useful. Although I've only used Allmusic at present, there are one or two things I'd like to look up on the others.
