well yes. I think they mean miliscously interfereing eith a thread, like if you post the same things alot like 5+ times

But copying another researchers posts blocks the natural flow of the conversation and can give said researcher the feeling that he/she/it/they is/are talking to themselves/thin air/the wall/any convenient plant.
