the Nuetron cutters slice through things, with relative ease, but more advanced armor and shielding technologies slow or stop them.
Quantom Bolt luanchers fire pretty pale blue/purple bolts of energy at a moderate rate of fire. Impact causes an explosion.
Centuari Duel Arrays, or Ion Accelerators, fire plasma that explodes on impact and causes massive damage to the targeted area.
