"Wait for someone to second it."
Anyone, or just Scouts?

Gosho, I am not spamming you, but it seems relavent to post what I said in the other thread here as well, for comment by Anna, and/or Ashley, and maybe some of the other Miners.

This will need some clarification, I think.
As I understand it - and you had better check with Ashley who seems to be doing most of the Italicised work on the UnderGuide - the AWW will become the feeder-forum for the Underguide, while remaining a happy hunting ground for AGG/GAG/CAC and a place where entries are also found and forwarded to the Post.
The UnderGuide has two elected UnderGuide Editors, (Jodan and GTB), and a dozen or so volunteer miners.
The processes all seem to have been agreed at a high level, though none of them are finalised in detail.
Essentially - and again this is as I understand it, and please check with Ashley - the UnderGuide, the AWW (under a new name), and the Miners will follow the same model as the Edited Guide, PR and the Scouts and Subs. No scouts seemed to be in the least bit active here on a regular basis for months, if not for years, and my assumption was that the Scouts would continue to concentrate on PR.
There is, of course, nothing at all to stop someone being both a Scout and a Miner, or a Sub and a Miner, or all three. But as I understand it, Miners can propose and second the removal of entries, and in fact we have been doing so intermittantly and successfully since January.

It can't be just scouts. There are only two scouts in the UG, and we've gotten entries moved before by Waz and Ben before

Jodan, have you considered having two browsers, Explorer and Netscape or Opera, and being logged in as yourself in one browser and as the UG ED in the other?
It works surprisingly well, especially if you are consistant about using one browser for one persona and the other for the other.

I posted here (since Anna is subscribed to this page) so that I can get clarification from an Italic as I wasn't aware of any changes regarding proposals and seconds, and as I mentioned earlier today, I seem to recall that Bossel didn't have proposers and seconders when he did his marvelous workshop cleanouts (although I may be remembering that wrongly).
I'm quite content with whichever way it goes

But she created the page, and it says:
"Post the entries here telling me the A number (rather than the whole url) and the person who proposed and the person who seconded."
And then:
"Please send these through to me in batches as they're easier to process that way."
So who is 'me'?

Me is Anna
I pointed out the recent batch on her PS and I'll send an email to to the miner mailing list for this issue. I'm sure Ashley will answer
