Mainly because I thought it would be funny. Tell me what you think.

I thought about that, but all of the tests are true by the way. I think I will take out the bit about taste, though.

You don't like me very much do you? I just heard that windex is not something you'd want to take a bath in. (Damn you low prices!)

No, I'm now more concerned with it seeping into his brain. It hasn't helped in a few weeks, and I've stopped putting it in his shampoo (It's a lot of effort for something I'm reasonably sure won't work)
I'll continue spraying him periodically, and see if any hair develops, though I'm afraid the hair would be all mutated and blue.

"mutated and blue." - he might notice that. You've reminded me of when my brother got irritated by my father's constantly using his shampoo and made up a bottle which he passed of as being his. It had a little shampoo as a base but was mainly washing up liquid with a variety of herbs and spices, notably curry powder, added.
The only effect we detected was a certain irritability. It didn't seem to have any effect on his hair. So your theory of cleaning products seeping may be right.

He has long abandoned checking mirrors, as they depress him, but the blue hairs on his pillow may be a bit alarming.
Any advice on the article?

"Any advice on the article?" - in what sort of way, in the writing or the scientific rigour of your tests ?
Regarding the writing, you have a straightforward style which I like.

This is very funny.
When I was reading this, my colleague stuck her head round the door of the office and asked what I was laughing at. I would think it's a goer for the UG.
