NetHack 3.4.1 came out yesterday! (Well, 2 days ago now it's after midnight 
)
It's just 3.4.0 with bugfixes, but 3.3.1 was a big improvement over 3.3.0 too.

I've gone back to playing Nethack 3.4 recently, rather than Slash'EM which was built on 3.3 iirc and got myself an all-time top score of 19860 (I'm getting a _bit_ better now)...

Just looked through my old postings on rgrn... I posted my highscore list there... seems my top score is 384921. Much higher than I thought. My top four scores were all due to mishaps with *ckatrices or their corpses 
Except one which was a "trickery" 
I shall try Slash'EM... perhaps not today if I have to read a new Guidebook to make sense of it
