not intentionally..but sometimes..because she's a bit overweight..or not praticularily good looking..you miss the real jewels

this girl at work...very big girl ( I would say close to 300 pounds) just got engaged..everyone was so happy for her.. she's the nicest person you could ever meet.. but so many guys would not give her a sideways look because of her size..

I totally agree. I do not weigh 300 pounds but a good friend of mine does. We have both had our share of bad relationships
and I tell you some of the greatest guys would just look rite past us both. We really are great people and fun to be around
we just don't have very many choices as most men are looking for the perfect 10. Oh and don't anyone go into anything about
me trying to loose weight because I have been under a doctors care for years now. She has put me on so many different diets
that we have lost count. I am not lazy nor am I a big eater. There is just something wrong with my metabolism so I am trying to loose
weight but it is taking longer than most people. Sorry, back to the topic. If you guys would look past the book cover at the
real story inside you might find that your perfect mate has been sitting rite under your nose the whole time.

That's something else I've noticed. You can tell I've done a lot of thinking on this subject. But anyway, it is not appearance that seems to attract people to each other. It is scent, at the most base level. It's also about attitude. Scent is a carry-over from other species' mating rituals, and it works on a subliminal level. Attitude is more easy to notice, as you are attracted to those with pleasant and/or fun attitudes about life.

My sister is somewhat overweight, but she has had guys lined up to go out with her, just because she's incredibly fun to be with. But now she's settling down and getting married to a wonderful, quirky man who dyes his hair with the seasons.
