Desperate guys finish last. Boring guys finish last. Nice guys, provided they are neither desperate nor boring, finish first.

I feel your pain, being a nice guy as well. I have also recently gone through three rapid-fire situations like you have. One after the other. BAM-BAM-BAM. I am hardly boring, but at the moment, I am desperate. So I'm not even trying the dating thing for a while.

Center yourself, wait until you are no longer desperate, and build up that bubbly giggly stuff inside you that makes you not boring. Everybody has a bubbly-giggly gland that produces fun. It tends to lay dormant in times of depression, but reawakens when one is centered in oneself.

Moving too fast is rarely an issue. If you move quickly in a relationship, and you are fun and independant, then your significant other may be excited by the whole thing, provided he/she is interested in you too. (If he/she is not, then you're setting yourself up for a fall, or at least certain embarassment.)

When people say that love comes when you stop looking for it, it's because typically when you stop looking for it, you are no longer desperate and you are a really fun person. This makes you 1,000 times more attractive. And it doesn't take all that long to get to that state of being, either.

So good luck, stop looking, center yourself, and let your bubbly-giggly gland awaken again!
