Friend of mine in college was carrying a copy of the blue book around....
Read the guide to the guide.....thought the part about people who were so ridiculously primitive they thought digital watches were a pretty neat idea was kinda nice....so read further on. Came the Babel Fish and the proof of existence of God and the Genghis Khan lineage of Mr Prosser and I was hooked.....
