Good job with it, you should add some few things. Such as, you could put in defenses, shields, maybe more weapons, and engine power/speed.

Any suggestions for shields defense engines and weapons?

You can just really go to websites of Star Wars, or really any science fiction stories and just take what they have. Or you can just make it up. It's your ship. So you can really decide what goes on it and what not.

Or you could just go to a search engine like yahoo.com or google.com and just type in like star wars specs. Something of that sort. If you want add a Molecular Cutter to your weapons. Trust me you will like it.

Gangorlas my friend, you are in luck. You have made the aquantance of one of the world's biggest walking talking (in this case sitting typing) Star Wars/Babylon 5 encyclopedias.
For weapons I would suggest some anti-fighter guns (quad lasers [Wars] or PPG gattling guns {Bab 5}), some more anti-ship guns (turbolasers [Wars] or Quad/dual arrays{Bab 5}, maybe some extra fighters (any kind you want).
For shields and armor you can't go wrong with Mon Calimari. The shields on Home One, a Battlecruiser somewhere between 1200 meters and 4000 meters long took bombardment from 200 Victory class Star Destroyers on one side and a Super class Star Destroyer on the other. It took that for atleast 10 minutes before the shields started to weaken! (Bab 5 armor is just all around good, far better than Trek [paper thin that is, and about as strong])
Anything else, just ask.
Nice!

Oh, and Molecular cutters are beasts! They can slice a ship into bits with ease (only problems are against shields [not a prob for long thought, unless they are Vorlon] and Vorlon armor, I doubt that we will face Vorlons as enemies, as I am well loved by the Vorlons). You might want some of those. Oh, they sweep, you don't have to move your ship to change the angle of cut.
Equip and enjoy!
