OK so SANITY resumes http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A68843
I AM MAD
there is no doubt about an improbable un provable point of non-existence of the brain wave matrix amongst the jelly of the sub-ether.
The EARTH is on a course for boredom or INsanity, henseforth all human kind will remain wired to their sub processors and remain constantly on line.
case in point
point proven QED..

Sanity and boredom go together. When one is completely sane, and therefore completely normal, sh*t gets boring. For a relief of boredom, you might do things that do not normally involve sanity, like jump off the roof or something. Or you could visit my site, which is completely devoid of sanity - Sanity-Challenged Reviews. HAH! WATCH ME SHAMELESSLY PLUG! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!

okay, i thought the theory was decent, except for one thing...
why would you want to keep some sanity by using some up every day? why not enjoy the fullness of sanity and then the fullness of insanity, the latter of which would probarbly ba a lot more fun, anyway. you should use up your sanity when you are bored.
boredom and sanity go together. surely if you were insane, you would never be bored!
sorry, i just watched "a beautiful mind"

Use up my sanity when I am bored?
I am bored while I use my sanity. Insanity is the cure for boredom.
It is a question of balance. You need to have a certain grip on reality to appreciate that you are using your insanity. If you have no sanity, then insanity becomes the norm, and thus becomes that bit more normal, and, to the insane, sane.
(Are you keeping up with this?)
In short, to realise you are mad, you need to be at least partially sane; thus preserving a certain amount of sanity allows you to *enjoy* your insanity.
