No problem!
I've got a few suggestions, too...
"However, such toffee popcorn is an inferior, and far more expensive, than the homemade version." should be "However, in this Researcher's opinion, such toffee popcorn is inferior, and far more expensive, than the homemade version."
"I comes in the form" = "It comes in the form"
"soggey" = "soggy"
* To make "Microwaveable popcorn", "Popcorn maker" etc. bold (use Text</B>
* Removing "It is almost as bad as being deprived of chocolate and I really do pity you. Truly."
Well done

It's looking better!
I'd also suggest removing the "an" in "However, such toffee popcorn is an inferior, and far more expensive, than the homemade version.", by the way

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Feb 1, 2003
This spent a short time in the Writing Workshop, and the thread is here

One thing I've just noticed - the link to the Microwave Ovens entry might go better here...
"...popcorn in a bag, which is placed in the microwave for a couple of minutes"

Hi unconformity, great entry, I was just wondering if you could include a way of heating the spoon for those who have an electic hob, presumably in hte steam over a kettle would be hot enough?

I wouldn't recomend it. Not unless you are impartial to scolding your fingers. Running the spoon under hot water helps, but doesn't have the same effect. Otherwise holding over a lighter should do the trick, as it only takes a couple of seconds. Perhaps I should put 'a flame' intead of 'the flame'.

Still, best to clear everything up. I wouldn't want all those electric hob owners out there to feel left out. My main concern is all those people out there who don't know what treacle is. *Still shaking head in disbelief* I have doubts that maple syrup is a workable alternative.

Exactly. Maple syrup is too sweet and runny, and a lack of treacle means a lack of gingerbread and bonfire toffee. I dread the thought.

And as for heating the spoon - boil water in the kettle and pour it over the spoon, or pour some boiling water into a cup and put the spoon in that for a minute or two before you need to use it. Have a tea towel or an oven mitt handy in case the handle gets hot.

I think I'm going to have to put up an alternative sauce recipe though, one that allows for shortages of golden syrup, treacle, demerara sugar and gas hobs. I can't experiment at the moment, being in a catered hall of residence. All I've got currently is a microwave, toaster and broken kettle. Perhaps I need to write another article on sugars and syrups to clear things up.
