In the ideal world the Blockquote tag should only be used if you are actually quoting somehting.
If you want to create a sub-subheading, may I recommend the tags rather than nesting subheaders in blockquotes?

The brief listing in "Who uses cryptography?" should include telephone systems and car/garage keys. At the moment your examples make it look like a much narrower field than it is.

You could link to Counterpane Systems' site on the Pontifex, for a *fairly* easy do-it-yourself cipher. It also links to programs you can download or run to encrypt and decrypt online.
You could also mention Indigo- the Japanese crypto machine

Another thought. You could add a section about Authentification Certificates and where to get them, including links.

http://www.simonsingh.net/Crypto_Corner.html would be a good page to link to.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

And I've finally been able to put some work into it! Got rid of all those pesky BLOCKQUOTEs except the one around the definition of crypto. What'cha'll think?

I guess for my next entry, I'll remember to have it totally polished and working before I submit it for Peer Review... maybe sending it to the Writer's Workshop first..!

If you have any updates to make, why not let Sam know (if he is the sub-editor)? I'm sure he would be happy to accommodate them.

I've always viewed "peer review" as a polishing centre so to speak...
