NuclearConfusion -Not a lot of money in the revenge business Posted Nov 20, 2003
Hey, don't go in the kitchen, if you can't ...see the forest for the trees...ish. ...I have nothing. It's kinda become a grudge match. It's Haikeeba's turn, But if either of you wish to steal it, he wouldn't mind.

Believe it or not, I'm trying to pick easy ones. I like it when people get it! But if we're annoying you with movie quotes we could move somewhere else...? Movies are pretty much all I've got for quotes.
"Now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb."

I got this one... well pretty sure, anyway, but I'll wait a day or so to give someone else a chance. May the farce be with you.

HAIKEEBA! Posted Nov 20, 2003
Yeah, you got it. But we can let it sit there for a while if you wish...

I am sorry, but no.
By the way, who's Zoolander? It sounds very familiar.

...you don't know who... well, got my next quote. Movie with Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, and David Bowie. Can you say 'classic'? I'm not gonna lie to you, though; there's some hijinks.
And DZ, so as not to de-spirit you,...nice try.

Ok, that quote has got to rick moranis in "Spaceballs"
Fabulous movie, especially for those of us who went to high school full of "druish" princesses.

I don't know if only Haikeeba can turn over the quote to you, but that is correct, he said so, so go ahead.

This one might be a tad on the simple side, but I think we need an easy to clean the palette (like a sorbet). Here goes:
"Dad, what's a Muppet?"
"Well, it's not quite a mop and it's not quite a puppet, but man...hee, hee, hee...So, to answer your question, I don't know."

skank monkey (upbeats only. shouting by special request) [night-who-ver?]isn't it annoying when somebody's name is longer than t Posted Nov 26, 2003
"Homer, Homer Simpson, he's the greatest guy in his-tor-eee,
From the, town of Springfield, he's about to hit a chestnut tree....DOH!"
That was my answer by the way, as guessing who said that isn't much of a challenge.
On a similar theme....
"That monkey's gonna pay"

Hey guys, I'm not initiated yet, but can I guess anyway? I think it's Krusty the Klown. But then again, knowing me it probably isn't!

Doc U Posted Nov 26, 2003
Could be. But it sounds a lot like Homer Simpson addressing Mojo the helper monkey.

Hmmm.... i didn't realise how many Simpsons plots involved monkeys!
Good efforts - but i'm afraid you're both wrong
Time for a clue yet?

Doc U Posted Nov 29, 2003
Well, that monkey quote might be Rev. Lovejoy yelling at the monkeys at the zoo who have surrounded Ned Flanders - although I thought he said something more along the lines of "You heathen baboons!"
And the new quote doesn't sound like a Willy the Groundskeeper quote, but I don't know what else it could be.

bomias Posted Nov 29, 2003
Well, it is actually not a Simpsons quote. It belongs to another realm of popular culture...

"...He'll make you laugh, he'll make you think
He likes to run, and then the thing with the...person..."

Prof Frink, the end of the episode thats 23(ish) stories from springfield, or something like that.
How about this one:
"Referee Norlinger is outstanding in the sense that he stands out."
