Is it Keats?
I asked a friend - that's not cheating is it?!

Excuse me for asking, but have you been accepted as a member of the Random Quotes Guild yet?

Alison (ACE) Posted May 13, 2003
I'm sorry, I didn't realise this game was for members only. I'll leave if you'd prefer.

That is all right Alison!! If you would like to join Darth will be along momentarily to add you to the Guild. If not then I suppose we all can accept the fact!! *cringes at the thought of someone not wanting to join the Guild*

No, I would like to join, I just haven't got around to doing it yet! Do I have to do something to join, or just exist?!?

I think DL was just inquiring if you were a member or not, because if you aren't/weren't we'd love to have you and you should join if you haven't because it's simple but very fun and we're all nice.
I believe DL posted that last quote? So then is it Keats or isn't it? I want to know!
I always get curious when I don't know the answer.

Yes it was Keats, my favourite poet!
(Alison, I'm sorry if I sounded rather rude, it wasn't my intention. If you go to the top of this page, click on Random Quotes Guild-Come in, have a drink and leave a quote, a new pàge will open. Scroll down the page until you get to "leave your reply" and look for INITIATEES LEAVE YOUR QUOTE HERE, that's where you go to join the guild)

Okay, I have just posted to the conversation to join the guild. Go me! *Ahem*
I'm sorry if I sounded rude as well. That's the problem with these conversations in just text - can't tell the person's tone of voice! So sorry.
Anyway, so I guess it's my go? Okay, who said the following:
"I don't make predictions. I never have and I never will."

I think I'll join in the fun.
nope no idea
Though it strikes me it was either said in humour, and we should be looking for someone with such a sense of humour, or by an idiot, so to be noteworthy as a quote I'd look at poloticians or other foolish famous people.

A famous fool, as you're also in the uk, I'll go with a random guess of our Mr Blair, certainly foolish enough, and famous enough for it to be noted, but I doubt he would have been the first...
