When viewed through binoculars, how many stars can you count in M45?
I got to 50 last night.

Well, I could never see more than six unaided.
I only ever tried to count them with binnies once, and that was years ago. I think I got about 20-25, I can't remember exactly. The viewing conditions aren't that good round here, 'frinstance, no matter how dark the night is, you can never see the Milky Way. Any time I want to see that, I have to head miles out into the country.
