No problem! I've had pc problems to
What a night, new moon tomorrow and very clear, crisp, starry night. Cold but bearable, wrapped up warm!
Naked eye viewings: the magnificent Orion, Taurus, the Pleiades, Jupiter, Saturn, Cassiopeia with the end one being the remnants of a supernova
I also got a gorgeous view of the Milky Way!
In Ophiuchus with my binoculars I logged M9, M12 and M10.
In Hercules, M92 and in Virgo, I thought I spotted M86, but it is very faint.
Sirius is very bright, and M41 clearly visible.
Didn't want to come back inside but and another hot

Sounds like a good nights viewing.
New total 24.... great!
I came home late a couple of nights ago (Sunday I think), to find viewing conditions were superb. I've never seen it so clear around my way, but I was just too tired to go out again. I had a quick look and the air was almost like crystal. Twas beautiful and I missed a great opportunity... pity.

Last weekend here was like Spring, with gorgeous clear nights, as you say, air like crystal...
Yesterday & today, back to winter and rain, rain, rain.

Last night was here, crystal clear skies and not too cold, the was spectacular through my binoculars and very low in the sky which made Messier hunting easier
Gorgeous Jupiter was right over my head and I also managed to spot just before he set.
One more off my list, M40 in Ursa Major the Great Bear. Spotted on 5/5/03. {with my binoculars}
I just watched a fabulous sunset and might pop out later to see if it's clear enough for any viewings tonight.

Hi there AGB
I'm going to be away for a couple of weeks but keep the observations coming. If you would just date them I'll bring the page up to scratch when I get back. Thanks.
All the best

Hi there GB
I've just closed the MM up for the year and your total is 25. Well done!
Thanks for your participation in this, it was great to have you along.
Personally I'm going to keep going with it to see if I can do better for the coming year and if you still feel like posting it would be great to have you along again.
Anyway, Best wishes for the new year
A.M.
