Crystal sky and COLD.
M45 - there's a surprise. All 7 stars naked-eye and zillions through binoculars.
M42 and M43 - I've never seen M43 before
2 others that I am not sure about so I'll say that my count is three at the moment.

Sky was even clearer tonight.
M36, 37, and 38 in Auriga through Binoculars - fuzzy blobs. If the sky is clear tomorrow the 'scope will be out again!
Also tried to spot M1. Sadly(?) Saturn was in the way. Who would have thought that? So clear that I could make out a hint of stripes and the rings were well separated. More than makes up for not seeing M1.
Too cold to stay out any longer!

Yay
Finally got out for a look heavenward.
Only had a short time and spent some of it trying to photograph a glorious cresent moon. Then turned to Jupiter . All four Gallilean moons and right next to M67 so...
Add M67 to my list please!
turvy - nearly Neo-thingite.

Given your 'Heads up' post Austin, I may have been looking at M44?
*digs around for star charts...realises that one is at work*

Ok M44 included. New total 7
BTW, Did you know that in China M44 was known as 'The exhalation of piled up corpses'. I jus' love that one, but it must have lost something in the translation..
All the best

Hi there Turvy
I'm going to be away for a couple of weeks so I won't be able to post them straight away. If you would just date them I'll bring the page up to scratch when I get back. Thanks.
All the best

September 28th. Sky crystal clear and no moon.
All through binoculars.
M34 in Perseus and the Double Cluster (Not an M!) - what a sight.
M31 - I've never seen it so big and I'm certain I could make out M32.
M33 in Triangulum. The Pinwheel Galaxy - more of a fuzzy blob but there none the less!
Just a few to add there if we are still at it. I know that AGB may be at it too but not in this sense?!
