Hey I want to move to Sandwell when I grow up - I'm on a steady decline aren't I? Starting in Skelmersdale - and declining from there's an achivement.
Birmingham wasn't in the book of the 50 worse towns in the UK - Skelmersdale was number 48! I was so proud.

There weren't any parts of Birmingham in it! Wolverhampton was, I can't remember if Cov was. I gave it to my parents for Christmas.

I have lived there since 1976, though I really had no choice in thematter as I was only 6 months old at the time. Was B68 for years, briefly flirted with B67 and have just become a B17 boy.I work in a primary school in Cape Hill during the week and in Nostalgia & Comics on weekends. I wouldn't really call this link tenuous it's more akin to being clapped in irons with a very heavy chain which is padlocked to the Rotunda.
