Pursuing happiness but traveling late
Hello my names Stu and i'm recently 29 and 30 suddenly seems alot closer than it did a fortnight ago. I mainly (5 days a week) work in a primary school providing their IT support and spend most of my Saturdays working in Nostalgia & Comics in the centre of Birmingham. As a result I know a frightening amount about comics, as well as quite a lot about post 1990 indie and alternative music and cinema but then it would appear everyone here is into their films. I have a varied career path, I have been <deep breath> a paper boy, filing clerk, social policy researcher, supply purchaser for a tampon factory, a nurse, a bank clerk and the man who directs lost mobile phone pylon technicians over three fields to a shed surrounded by a swamp composed of cowpats to flick a switch so we, the people, can have crystal clear reception.
I've lived in Birmingham pretty much my whole life and in all honestly I love the place and will most likely stay as long as they'll have me.
These are a few of my favourite things (and subject to change depending on my mood)
Book - Watership Down
Film - Jaws
Program - Samurai Jack
Album - Surfer Rosa by The Pixies
Comic - Planetary
Footy Team - West Bromwich Albion
Alcoholic Beverage - Guiness
Non-Alcoholic Beverage - Cherry Coke
And for now that's pretty much me.
Take care and drop me a note to say hello if you feel like it.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
