Did we ever establish if it was Mr Romans and whether he ever gave the New Order CD back?

I knew there was some unsolved business!
If it is Mr. Romans, he's changed his name to Gareth Young, B.A.(Hons.), PgDip, PGCE. Shall we ask Uncle Heavy U129295 if he ever got his music back.

Researcher U128012 did the hard work, I'm just goal-hanging.

I would include the "Round Table", it is quite an important part of Winchester. Also, I would stress that yes, it was one of the two medieval walled cities of Hampshire (the other being Southampton; Portsmouth did not build a wall until much later), a fact that stresses its importance, and that the West Gate survives and is well worth a visit.
Perhaps the (strangely familiar ) part on Winchester's castles should be broken up into standard paragraphs, with a subheader for each castle. It looks a little weird. Also, the brackets explaining that Hampshire is a county make it a little awkward to read. Perhaps that should be in a footnote, or even dropped altogether?
Other than that, 9.9999999999999 out of 10!

some facts:
winchester is the only city in britain where you are allowed to drink on unliscenced premises that arent private property. ie, on the street.
winchester cathedral has the longest nave in europe
i know many other facts, but these are desputable...

True - and talking of Winchester's biuldings, perhaps you should mention that the Youth Hostel in Winchester is housed in a watermill (over the Itchen?), which definately adds charm to a stay there.

Uncle Heavy - Yes Please contribute whatever you need to.
Blue Bottle - Maybe ... is there a Historical Perspective to the fact that the YHA is housed in a Watermill?

Is that a good thing or a bad thing, and is it or isn't it me? Hmmm...

Uncle Heavy was going to put in a bit extra. He can if he likes ... I'll gladly add it in.
In the meantime, in can get picked if any scout fancies it ... it's done all the workshops once already and when I rescued it from Flea Market just seemed to need a bit of fine-tuning.
