Hi Dr M, smiley - smiley

just skimmed this, it looks as if it will be good. smiley - ok

One line that needs sorting: "In 1486, Henry VIII's son Arthur was born at Winchester Castle, and in 1603 it was were that Sir Walter Raleigh was sentenced to death."

I think that must be Henry VII's son, Arthur; Henry VIII's older brother. And the word 'were' in the 2nd half of the line probly should be 'there'.

Later in that para, there is some ambiguity in 'almost all of the town's castles were destroyed' which seems to imply there were a dozen or so castles of which only 1 or 2 survived. I don't *think* that's what you mean, smiley - winkeye.

More generally, how 'finished' do you consider this? Or is it very much a work in prog? smiley - smiley

It can got to PR tomorrow probably - it was about to be scouted when it got abandoned.

What does abandoned mean - I never abandoned my article, I have just been busy - most of the text is still mine - how did I abandon it?

Not very happy!

Sorry. No offence meant.

I found it in Flea Market and reworked it to comply with the requests of the old PR Threads. That's how it works.

I minesweep drinks in the pub too.

So is this an official dispute or shall I proceed full steam ahead as intended?

No not an official dispute, just that I was very confused.

Thanks for clearing it up..

You are credited on this one, and remain the sole author of the original entry.

If you can see a way of improving this, I'll be happy to accommodate.
