Hi! V nice entry and Edinburgh is great!
A minor point....I think that it is considered that there are 4 universities, but it would be dependent on where you consider the Edinburgh area to cover.
University of Edinburgh, Napier University, Heriot Watt University (several miles outside the main city) and Queen Margaret (I think it is now "University College")

hi i enjoyed reading about edinburgh i found it very interesting even though i have lived there all my life
all 66yrs i also worked in queen margaret university college for 26yrs
now they are hoping to move from theplace they are now they originally came from a college called the domestic science college in atholl crescent at the west end of edinburgh then moved to clerwood and expanded from then and still are
