I can testify to the positive attitude of the Charlton fans. On my one and only visit to the Valley as an Away-Blade we got a friendly reaction from your fans in the pub before the game, all through the game, and afterwards as we licked our wounds from a one-nil defeat.
I'm looking forward to this hitting the front page sometime very soon

Good thanks. I've this week unearthed my first CAFC matchday programme.
31 Jan 1981 Charlton v Plymouth
1-1.
Colin Powell netted for the Addicks ... before going on to make a name for himself in the US military...

This entry's ace. I see no good reason for keeping it here in PR any longer. Can I hit the big fat button now?

Forbes Phillipson-Masters! Best-named played in Argyle history - and you saw him play! Why I oughta...
(I didn't see my first game until 1986 - but I can tell you that the team you saw featured two future Argyle managers (Kevin Hodges and Dave Kemp) and four of the '84 FA Cup Semi-Final side (Crudgie, Nissy, Hodges and Leigh Cooper)

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
