I will not inflict "Trip a little light fantastic" on you from a certain Disney sequel. 
(Hint: it was getting dark, and the children needed to get back to Cherry Tree Lane, so Lin-Manuel Miranda and M.P. asked the lamplighters to come to their aid)
I benefit from lampshades in my house. I have put full-spectrum lightbulbs in six lamps, but they're too bright to see with the naked eye, so I carefully balance lightshades on them.
Fog nicely blurs and diffuses light, sort of like the same effect as the sun going behind clouds...Yo9u wouldn't wantto stare at the sun directly...

My neighborhood has streetlamps, so fog will have the same effect in the future here.

Thank you - yes, the fog made the evening very atmospheric. Fascinating that spiders live all the way up there, but the lightbulb must keep them warm, and it is a prime site for a web!

We don't need to look to alien planets for threats to humanity.
I wish more countries would Germany's approach to handling Covid-19 and use their practices. They have a much lower death rate than we do. http://www.weforum.org/agenda/2020/05/how-germany-contained-the-coronavirus/
