I think I'd rather not leave Earth. Especially on a nice day like this.

Todya is hotter. I'd be open to reasonably cooler places.

Nice shots, GB, of this remarkable event!! Good to re live it. I was checking the news on my phone all the time, they've docked! they've docked! I got sooo involved. SpaceX. Amazing.
And all done remotely?
I didn't realise that there was a minor bump on the head for Hurley.
I think often about life on the ISS, watch it go by sometimes, that moving light in the sky.

You can download an "app" for your phone. ISS. I got ISS and ISS LIVE. The LIVE app is where I got these screenshots from. Like you all, we were riveted to the event, we saw much more via the app (tuned into NASA TV) than the highlights we got on the BBC News on the telly.
The ISS app - you key in your location and it will tell you the next time the ISS is due over your location. We often go out and wave to the astronauts, I also wish them God Speed and safe journey as they are dipping out of sight. Sure they can't see us waving and bestowing blessings, but that doesn't mean they can't feel the love.

What a lovely idea!
And Thanks for the info on the app! I didn't know that - I was messing about with screenshots.
