Recently Researcher 5 mentioned to me that he is fond of the Moomins. I am as well, and regular readers will know I am also fond of soft toys. You will therefore not be surprised to learn that I have a soft toy Moomin.

My Moomin means a lot to me, as I saw her in a shop when I was with my partner. I picked her up and found that she was lovely and soft, but I put her down again because I argued to myself that I didn't really really need her. My partner encouraged me to pick her up again, and we all left the shop together1. Now she sits in pride of place on a shelf in my bedroom with her little soft teddy and I'm glad my partner persuaded me that I did need her really!
