A vacuum and a louse?

When you put those cows upside down, they look like jeeps.
If I were making captions for the picture, I wold go with "Pretty little surreal with the fringe on top."
Patient: Doctor, my wife thinks she's a cow. What shall I do?
Doctor: I could talk to her and see if I can cure her of her delusion.
Patient: Maybe we should just let it go. I need the milk.

"We have a problem, dear,."
"What problem is that."
"Our teenage son has been arrested for tipping cows."
"Do we need to provide bail?"
"No, but he tipped rather heavily, and our son has run out of money."
"Ah, so those pesky cows have been waiting tables at the diner again...."

Superfrenchie wanted to know if this video was amoosing.
(Even better, SashaQ replied, 'No, they were too far away to hear.')

The inspiration for this cow film - at least its title - has to be "Un Chien Andalou" (An Andalusian dog) from 1929 by Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dali. It is not quite as pleasant to watch, so be warned:

Correctly spotted, Pierce. This was, indeed, the inspiration for my title.
The original, slightly longer, film by the dairy people was called 'When the Cows Come Home', which I found rather surreal to begin with.

Surely dogs are as welcome here as cats? I can't imagine a world without both.
"When the cows come home" make me think of the ranching sleuth in the mystery "Holmes on the range." Part of the plot has to do with a secret plan to interbreed cows and bison , with funny/disastrous (take your pick) results.
No, Sherlock Holmes did go way out West to become a cowboy, but the title character was so smitten with Holmes's work that he resolved to apply Holmes's methods to a murder mystery that occurred at the ranch where he was working.

Cows are competing with cats in <./>thepost</.> lately All good to see, though I found it quite surreal watching cows wander through a wading bird reserve, but this video takes surrealism to the next level indeed

A friend just sent me a picture from his holiday in Andalusia. Sadly there are neither cows nor dogs in it

This inspired me to write a poem in the same surrealistic vein. I couldn't help myself
- - -
I saw a swarm of cows
coming home to roost
the day that pigs could fly
to this I wasn't used
I called a friend to tell her
she said she saw them too
"I need a strong umbrella
I'm guessing so do you!"
