As the story is inspired by Judith Kerr, I shall guess that the dinosaur escapes and goes looking for afternoon tea

Ah, so what you're saying is you think the story is essentially 'The Tyrannosaurus that Came to Tea' (only without the Tyrannosaurus rex, which obviously would be vulgar)...?

I think Dr Beeching will walk his creation through the park, greet other dogwalkers cheerily, 'hey my dog might be green but I love him and he loves you.'
