So, on Thursday, September 27, I had the fun of telling the girls, "We won't be getting the keys next week... We're getting them tomorrow!"
On Friday, it was paper-signing day and move-out-of-campground day. After picking the girls up from their respective schools, we girls went to the house to wait for the guys to come with the keys. The previous owners had left the freestanding porch swing--which had a cover that, unfortunately, did not hold up to 3 people sitting on it for half an hour or so...
That night, we slept on air mattresses in the house, and would be moving things in from the cargo trailer for the next few days. After about 3 weeks of getting settled, Tom and Tim took off to go get the rest of our things, and to get Tom's mom and her things. They got back after exactly 4 weeks, and at this moment, Tom and his mom are seeing if her apartment is ready for her to move in today.
