Join the Q: Signs of Spring Part II

In March, I took my camera to work and took photos in the little garden near my office building. I was impressed by how much colour had emerged there after the cold and snowy weather just a couple of weeks before.

My own little garden took a bit longer to get going, but by the beginning of May it was looking much more impressive. Only one little violet appeared, but there were plenty of bluebells. Quite a few pink and yellow tulips bloomed, and they looked almost like they were glowing in the evening light. Most spectacular, though, were the pink tulips - the flowers looked more like peonies or even roses, as the blooms were so large and full. Even a heavy rain shower the next day didn't dampen their spirits!
