Really nice work, Willem.

Last year I saw a movie about someone who was photographing snow leopards in the wild. For some reason I thought it resembled your painting a bit, though my memory may not be as reliable here as I would wish. smiley - blush

Hi Paulh! Thanks, glad you like this! Well snow leopards are probably prone to posing photogenically as most kitties are ...

I don't know what about most felines makes their muscles so strong ---I am just pleased that most domestic cats are usually careful about muting their not inconsiderable weapons while playing with their non-feline housemates.smiley - smiley

Hi Elektra! Most wild animals seem to be extremely strong. Leopards for instance can jump into trees carrying 200-lb carcasses in their jaws!

I'm going to let them do that if they must. Ain't gonna stand in their way. smiley - winkeye

Long one of my favorite cats, muscles like banded steel and they never velvet their paws.

Its hard to credit they can top 200 kph on a ten meter sprint, but they can, a point that helps account for their success as ambush predators, so blindingly fast one doesn't see them move.

The eye takes longer to register the movement than that cat does to complete it.
