A Conversation for The Lying Scotsman

Definitely makes one think, but then it would, 'cos its an FWR story.
How, in fact, did Rab get to Cell 2? When he's locked up in Glasgow.
W-w-w-what?
Cell 2 could become a catch phrase to describe anything supernaturally peculiar.
It's all a bit Cell 2 for me, one might say.
One definitely might.
Another fine tale, FWR, and definitely very Cell 2.

I share cactuscafe's view this story makes one think.
Are you suggesting some mischievous supernatural being who so hates the police he manifests himself in the form of drunken Scotsman in several places at once?

I think FWR is suggesting, either, a quantum wormhole or that no Independence Referendum will ever work.

...twins, doubles, doppelgangers...
Mybown first experience with identical twins involved a couple of cousins of mine, back when I was 3 years of age.
They were a little older than I was and directed to keep an eye on me.
Over tbe course of the day, one of them stayed with me while the other went off to do other things.
Periodically they would come together to confer, then split up again.
They alternated.
Going to the doppelganger sequence from the film "Bram Stoker's Dracula",
That's how I'd interpret it, twins or doubles.

Mischievous supernatural being, quantum wormhole, voodoo curse, mysterious twins, doppelganger. The Referendum is surely challenged. .
Uh oh, FWR on night shift. Do we worry? We do.

Well, at least the boogies you encountered seemed to be of a non-belligerent nature, or at least not hungry entities---they are the ones to watch out for. We'll keep our fingers crossed for you till you go back to days.
