Unfortunately I don't think trying to get a toddler around London, and to and from London on the train on my own is a good idea, especially as he'll end up over tired and silly, and I'll end up rather frazzled.

sadly neither me nor W can make it William is unwell, and we've spent the morning (mainly just boiling to death in the waiting room), at the walk in weekend clinic NhS thinggy.... eventually saw a Dr, and now we're trying to find a pharmacy, which is both open and which has the antibiotic she's scripted, in, in stock.... which appears to be no pharmacy possibly because the medication has supply problems, and hence can't be prescribed anymore Some kind of ear infection by the look of it, but making W all kinds of weird ill, including somewhat confused, double visioned, and unbalanced (well, more unbalanced than useual), and smentally confused he seems a little better now than he was first thing, but even so, and even if I thought I might be able to dash down on the train and get a cab, I don't really want to leav e him on his own At least we can catch up with Amy, in Cambridge, err.... Thursday I think isn't it?

And Icy, I am so sorry that I didn't greet you properly--I didn't put the name you gave me together with your h2g2 name until quite late, since your name Elsewhere is much closer to this name than the name your parents gave you... (I like what spim said about h2g2 names being just as real as given names, though "real name" is much faster to type than "name your parents gave you"!)
