The last time I took one of those online tests that shows your political position, it found me to be pretty much dead-centre liberal. The same test plotted likely results of various significant politicians past and present, on the basis of their speeches and parliamentary voting records. It placed me a hair's breadth from Charles Kennedy. He advocated liberal democracy, both large and small, in the most engaging way. RIP.
