and also my son and daughter (who both have accounts). I haven't bought tickets or booked hotels yet, but will!

Me too. 
unless big giant unforeseen unforeseeable things, get all heavy about stuff... but even so... Must look up the trains at tsome point, coudln't figure them out last time I looked, they're clearly all screwed up with works going on, but it was too early on I think, for them to have actually known exactly* which bits of the network were due to be screwed at what times

It looked like I wasn't going to be able to come. I was blacked out of using minimum reward miles for my flights when I tried booking a few weeks ago. Circumstances (cash flow) preclude actually using money to pay for the tickets.
But I resolved to check the airline website daily and 
I found a reservation today! Flights booked!

Hrmph - the only direct flight from Manchester to Stockholm on a Sunday has an arrival time close to 10 pm - and that's the only one I've found (except for very early morning flights). Odd, last time I flew from Manchester, there was a very nice afternoon departure
