I apologise for the Pliny link, it's the active skin here at the moment: http://www.h2g2.com/entry/A87775401/conversation/view/F22130186/T8297511/page/last/#P0 This thread is now open to all. The characters will be arriving shortly. Please post any questions you have in this thread, and they will be answered over the next 48 hours. (It was going to be an immediate thing, but it over ran because we're still finding our feet, first time etc.) Feel free to wander around the house, asking questions, read backlog etc. Once you think you know who did it, how they did it, and why they did it, please email [email protected]

Aha. So we do get to interrogate?
If somebody could reserve me an office, I'll be back on Tuesday night to ask pertinent questions...

I really must fix that bug.

You can ask questions until this time Tuesday night, but don't forget that there'll need to be time for the characters (and those playing them) to answer them. If you leave asking your question until the last moment, you might not get a reply in time.

So we can go in the other rooms besides the Library? If we look, say for example, behind a picture, will there an actor there to describe what we see? That would be great!

Right who's first to the library then? Do we pretend to be the plod?

Pastey Posted Oct 28, 2012
You can look in any room you like
You can only interact with the characters in the library though.
There shouldn't be a need to move things about etc looking for additional clues as to the who, how and why though.

There's some lazy questioning going on. The room descriptions have quite a lot of information, eg the description of the Drawing Room was updated when it became a crime scene and is very clear, but people are asking questions about it without reading.

Thanks to all who are taking part. Questioning will resume when the suspects re awaken. They seem to have fallen asleep.

Tnere is more sneakiness that meets the eye, fellow detectives: this thread http://www.h2g2.com/dna/h2g2/brunel/F22130191?thread=8297516&latest=1 was not labeled like the other threads and so perhaps escaped the attention of some of us. It does appear that Jeeves is some sort of cold hearted automaton and I did not want to hurt his feelings by opinionating that over in the Library within his hearing. He keeps pushing food and drink on everyone; is this normal for an English butler? (I am not English nor have I ever had a butler so I do not know)

Hmm, I am in brunel and that link is not working. I think you can get there from here A87775456 though. It is the thread below the Pantry article, there.

Hi Clare, remember the instructions. We are now allowed to ask:
"...probing questions to try and get to the truth. But be careful, your fellow researchers are also trying to find the truth. If you get too much information out in the open, they might guess as well."
Don't spoil the fun too much by working everything out in public!

As long as you read the rules then everyone has a fair chance. They also say:
"No spoilers! When you think you know who did it, how they did it, and why they did it, email [email protected] with your answers. Don't spoil it for others."
