Hullo benjaminpmoore!
This article affected me deeply. It is to the point and honest, and hits home straight to the heart. And yet it holds open that doorway of wonder, the celebration of the mystery of love, with all its deep and illogical emotions.
Sometimes, if an article is very honest and gritty in its realism, I feel almost numbed, powerless in how to cope with life's problems. This article has the opposite effect. So thankyou.
I saw my mother worn down by mental illness towards the end of her life, and seeing my father trying to care for her was heartbreaking, and yet extraordinary. Although, in this case, it was a relief when he accepted more help.
I'm not sure if I could do it. I often talk with my husband about what we're going to do about it when the time comes and one of is ailing, but I don't suppose you really know until the time comes. Theory is different to practice. hmm
The last line of your piece, of course we'll always have Splot, that made me go wah. . Great last line.

Thanks Cactucs cafe, I'm glad you benefited in some small way from my scribblng.
You'd be surprised what you can achieve when you have to. When days come when you require greatness of yourself, know that anything you expect can be achieved, because you are remarkable.
