He was on holiday in America, motorbiking from one side to the other - a holiday he'd been looking forward to for a long time. A car changed lanes without spotting him, he was forced to swerve out of the way and was hit by a lorry.

Oh gosh. So sorry to hear that.

My best friend of some thirty years is in hospital today for a double brain tumour (I found out yesterday)

Seems it's the month for finding out bad news. .smiley - erm

I liked Peregrin and am very sad to know he has left us in such a sudden and tragic way.

Still, fond memories of his life. smiley - cheers
