I've emailed Vegi and he's okay.

He's home now with a stent implant to get oxygen to the heart, and his wife keeping him under strict instructions to rest.

The note above he posted from a hospital computer after persuading one of the nurses to let him on it smiley - laugh

That's good news - every time someone posted in this thread, I was rushing to see if it was Vegi.

Thank you Guys/Gals

As Pastey reported, I had what is now a common procedure. An angiogram which starts from the top of the leg and places a stent into one of the arteries feeding oxygen to the heart.

Monday 25th June, 10pm: I had chest pains and breathing difficulties. My wife Margaret, rang the out of hours health service and they after a few questions, they sent a paramedic to me then passed us over to the ambulance service.

Margaret passed the phone over to me whilst she got a few things together and got dressed.

Before I had given the ambulance emergency services full details the paramedic was knocking on the door.

The Hospital was great, although in the past had a bad reputation, I have nothing but praise for doctors, nurses and staff.

Now out and about, I am not allowed to drive or work but feel better and with more energy than I have had for over a year.

Resting and walking as per instructions. I am being a good boy.

Thanks again to you all
