Z here,
My contribution to the May Create Challenge is going to be an entry on Munro Bagging - ie climbing all the mountains in scotland over 1000 meters.

I intend to write about attracting birds into gardens, feeding and watching them.
I promise to do this one!

Thanks Lanza
I should make a table of the entries people have suggested shouldn't I?
Or I should do my darned job..

I will write a personal entry on my hobby of collecting china. It's been a lot of fun for me, but I fear it will be boring for those who read it. Whatever.

Great!
I'm sure that it will be interesting to people. Remember we get a lot of visitors finding us through google, and people are often looking for information about a hobby they are thinking of taking further.

Not to me paulh. I'll be really interested to hear which sort of china you collect, having come from the part of the world where some of it may have been made.
Plus collecting antique china and porcelain must be a fairly big hobby worldwide, so I guess a lot of readers out there would be keen to read your Entry as well.

You are welcome of course to update it, as it was meant as a 'get you started' guide, so it's not comprehensive.

That University project is _the_ Entry I most had my eye on linking to, as it is full of really appropriate information for what I had in mind.
I think I was intending to write an Entry more from the point of view of an armchair birdspotter, so I hope it's differentiated enough from the section in Mina's University project. When I first read it, I nearly decided that I wouldn't write mine at all, but I hope they will end up being different aspects.
Oh, and please add a brand new member Rossy, U14996671, who I hope is going to write about campfire cooking.

I'm not really into *antique* china, though I have a few pieces that are 50 or 60 years old. Many of the patterns I own have ceased to be made, but they were still being made when I bought them.
Mostly I buy china to make me feel better when I look at it. I have a small dining table [more of a breakfast table]. I don't use tablebloths. Instead, I use pairs of pillowcases in a wide range of colors. Changing the colors every day is a great way to have variety. The table coverings bring out the colors in the dishes.

I shall attempt to get B to help me write a guide to collecting Soviet medals if at all possible, although I would just like to say that it will require at least three badges as B and I do not collaborate well on writing projects.
Failing that, I shall attempt to finish my 'how to become a TEFL teacher' entry. It's not my hobby, but I figure it hits language learning and travel, which are other people's so it counts. Yes, it does.

I'd like to take this one up, although the subject may be a bit dated.

I thought a piece about amateur dramatics would be fun, but I'm hopelessly out of date. What use are these computer thingies?
Perhaps I should stick to a personal account.
How not to write a short story or a novel?

Perhaps that should be 'How to Write a Really Bad Story.' There's a funny and informative article on 'How to Write Bad Poetry' - A577118

Right!
Well I've made a 'Roll of Honour' so I can link to everyone's work in progress, and we can all see everyone's entry in PR and make sure we comment. Just check out the page!
I haven't put on entries that haven't been entered into the review forums, because I know that not everyone likes people reading their works-in-progress. If I've missed anyone let me know.
