The Post Art Challenge: Martian Space

0 Conversations

Our writers responded to the Post Art Challenge immediately and predictably. Most of them protested that they weren't sure where the business end of a camera was. Others, like Bel, questioned my sanity (not for the first time) in creating a challenge involving 'mental spaces'. Now, apart from the fact that any space I occupy is mental, I thought it was a broad enough topic to encompass pretty much anything our artists wished to express in terms of photography + image manipulation.

The entry below is inspired by a visit to the luminaria on display in Raleigh, NC last year. It represents Elektra's mental space. I refuse to comment further on the grounds that I am not suicidal. Enjoy. – DG
