A Conversation for The Marx Brothers

I have the tape of the re-making of Flywheel, Shyster (you have an extra 'l' in there) and Flywheel - still very funny...
I'm just starting an entry on Duck Soup, by the way. It's my favourite film of all time. I'll put in a link to this entry if that's okay...
I don't know if it's worth putting in a bit about Grouch's limited literary career - He did publish a few books along the way, as well as a couple of books of his letters that have been published.
And as for Marx Brothers films - don't know whether you'd consider 'The Story of Mankind' as worth a mention??? Not strictly a MB movie as they don't all appear together, but for completeness sake.
One other point - how would you feel about splitting this into two separate entries - one for The Marx Brothers as a collective, and one for Groucho on his own? I think your entry would probably work even better this way, as about half of it is about the collective and not the individual - it would then be fairly straight forward for someone else to come along and add the other brothers in at a later date. As it is any entry about The Marx Brothers as a whole that could come along later will end up having to repeat a lot of what you have in here...

Do you know what? This entry is getting a bit silly, it's starting to sound a bit like a Marx Bros entry with Groucho going solo tagged on at the end...
So, this entry is now a Marx entry, with a link to my Groucho entry at the end, for the advice.
Wasn't sure whether to mention Groucho's literary stuff, as it is so limited.... but I'll brood over it.
Couldn't give us the A number of your Duck soup entry, could you? I'll link to it.

This is the start of my entry - as you can see still very much under construction...

While we're on the subject, just brought a couple of cassettes of Groucho doing 'You Bet Your Life' on e-bay for a fiver - I'll let you know if I receive them (!) and if they're any good.

It's a good start... Thought of submitting it for CWW, that way you might get a bit more help with it. Bear in mind, though, that hardly anyone looks at CWW, they're all over in Ask h2g2...
sigh.

I'll probably wait and see how I go - I only started it this morning (I did a search on H2G2 which is how I came across your entry ).
You'll be pleased to hear I've now started putting comments in the correct place...
