Bob Hayes of the Dallas Cowboys won some medals in the Olympic games. Not in the 80's, though.

How about Michael Carter, NT for San Francisco?!!

Indeed it was Michael Carter, silver medallist in the shot putt and nose tackle for the 49ers.

That's a(nother) point and smiley - ale for FF. His turn to set a question.

In the meantime just to complete this thread on Olympic & NFL stars ...

- Who were the two NFL stars who tried out at Olympic bobsleigh? (One qualified but didn't compete in 1988, while the other competed in the 2-man bob in 1992).

- Colin Jackson holds the world record for the 110m hurdles at 12.91s
Who are the 3 NFL stars who have recorded times of 12.93, 13.26 and 13.29 respectively?

(No points, only smiley - cake on this one as it's for fun)

I would think that Tim Dwight is one of the three players with excellent 200m records as he was quick as hell in College. Still is quick, considering his block a couple of weeks ago where he outrana bunch of people to throw a really good block.
