A23965347 Ursa Major was originally my flea market rescue.
It has since been curated by GB but it is still a rescue.
also I have three others not yet in the EG
Grand Rapids MI, New Hampshire, and Oklahoma.

Oh, yeah, The Big Bang was also a flea market Rescue (as noted in the current list) so I guess Cartoons would be number 6.

Another overlooked article A32778516 Corona Borealis would push my total of rescues to 7

Thanks for letting us know Shagbark.
Congratulations on this achievement, we really appreciate people who rescue FM entries.
I'll arrange for a badge to be applied to your personal space as soon as there is a volunteer who can update for me.

rereading Oklahma's Peer review column I guess that was a solo entry not a scavenge. I went through a few locations because of the "ghost in the Machine" but apparantly was built from scratch.
so the list from My Index (A78736693):
Nov. '01 the Big Bang
Jan' '07 Ursa Major
Jan'08 Corona Borealis
July '10 New Hampshire
August '10 Grand Rapids,MI

Hi Shagbark
Just to let you know your Scavenger badge has been awarded.
Well done, and thanks for letting us know you'd successfully rescued more than 5 entries. We hope you will continue this worthwhile task.

Hello Shagbark - sorry that you've felt overlooked. Unfortunately the Scavengers badges does rather depend on us noticing that entries in the Flea Market have been successfully rescued and have made it into the Edited Guide!
Finding that you were the one behind the Flea Market Rescue is also difficult - have you been deleting your old entries?
A23965347 Ursa Major - Yep, I can see you rescued that.
A67976987 - New Hampshire - Again, clear cut rescue, and earning you your badge
However I'm confused about A32778516 Corona Borealis
This is credited solely to you? What article is it a rescue of?
Still, I've added you to the Top Rescuers Page, initially with the 5 ones I can see, but if you can clarify what article the Corona Borealis is a resuce of (and presumably who else should be credited - even if only a 'Additional research by') I'm happy to add that one too.

Under the article is a forum entitled Origin of Article.
Originally Cepfert did not want the constellation articles going through Peer Review. when His project fell apart it was suggested to put this into the flea market.
here is what I said in that forum
I originally wrote this For Cephert as part of his project and he so changed it I asked to have my name taken off. two years later it was in the flea market and I took it up again, so technically it is a flea market rescue.
Here is the forum putting it in the flea market

So, to recap: It was written by me- sent to Cepfert, relegated to
the flea market, taken out by me and put in PR.
Those putting it in flea market are panda, and bluebutterfly.

I suppose you could give Cepfert an additional reseaqrch by credit.
He said in 2006 when he ed
The funny thing is that with my current software I could provide h2g2 with 88 highest-quality constellation maps with arbirary size, colours, fonts, image formats, and stellar density within two hours. No copyrights. But I won't go through this stubborn process again. It's not about bitterness but about my little spare time at the moment.
I can't be a "pseudo"-editor for the constellation project any longer. If anybody wishes to take the job, I'll help with the transition.

Thanks very much for explaining - it's easy to confuse me, especially with articles that were written over 10 years ago. I've now added that one to the list of Top Scavengers, which credits you with 6 successful Rescues at the moment, with another one in Peer Review
It is quite exciting - you're the first person to have earned a Scavenger badge since I took over running the Scavengers. Well done!
