That's a fine piece of work, kind of like a tutorial for the masses. I'm sure it will go a long way towards educating old and new alike and I expect an increase in activity in every area across the board because of it. Good job Vip!

Aww, thanks Spynxxx, you've just cheered me right up. I was having a miserable afternoon and your kind comments made me feel so much better. I also really hope you're right!

Makes me wish I had time to volunteer again
I really miss contributing to the site the way I used to be able to. For the time being though, I'll have to be content to skim Peer Review when I can.
Then, when I *really* have time, there's the daunting task of.... updating the UnderGuide archives (I was hoping someone else would have volunteered by now, but as it's been two or three years, I guess not)

There is so much stuff that could be done. Even my pet Guide Revised project could be so, so good, but there just wasn't the strength of volunteers to do it and I can't put in the hours any more.
Oh well. Skimming Peer Review is probably the most useful thing you can do on a one-off visit.
We'll still be here if you have time in the future. Well, we'd better be, or I'll be one angry Vip.

I thought it was a good summary too. I know how you feel, and find it's quite awkward trying to fit doing as much h2g2 as you can in no more than 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week...
