good idea to encourage people to write about essex... the more entries written for that project the better... already some stuff have been/is being produced...
and of course the entries will be added to the H2G2 Essex Researchers Group's page as soon as possible...

those who have been contributing to the quotes section [ A909010 ] could also write something about one of the subjects talked about there as well...

I would love to go back to Lea Valley Canal (hopefully when they are having their real ale festivals) I have never did fishing myself I have only read about it in my countryside book. In Northumberland they call their sandwiches bait. So if you are not from up North and here some one say that there are going to their bait for lunch usually you have a picture of mind that they are taking maggots for lunch.

never heard of that, but there are some fisher men that put the maggot in there mouth to keep them warm

Back log is a pain in the butt, but someone has to do it ,
I get with my self when I come on here to do something, and then at the end of the night I realise that with all the distraction I have not done it
it seems to take for ever just to do the simplest thing

Yep... i had that problem when i was using the local library and cybercaf.. Went there to do a particular task and found myself doing something else...

At least now i will be able to do _some_ of what i wanted to do...

I think some of the first things i'm going to do is posting some links to the Essex Researchers Group and the Quotes Section... Not too time consuming plus i do enjoy looking for links anyway... So, the best of both worlds there...
