Here is are some jokes that might make you laugh (based on a real life stories)

I knew a man who lived in a flat and a house at the same time. He had to have an argument with himself just to decide if he wanted coffee. He confused the database software and as a result it needed computer analyst. Just imagine a computer on the couch and a psychoanalyst asking the computer questions. I knew a woman who every morning had a new deadly illness (only slight), it was either real, imaginery or non-terran. Sadly I do not meet such people where I live.

it has to do with our campaign to make h2g2 a more digibox friendly environment...

it seems that the way our digibox friendly "360 trick" works has been seen as a bug by someone over-zealous and they quickly tried to "fix" it...

so yes we are unhappy because had they succeeded [luckily our digibox friendly bug seems to be an unfixable one...@bugs.fixers.unsuccesful.attempt...] digibox users would have not have been able to access long conversations anymore...

i'm testing the situation at the mo' but it seems that we're still ok... i might change unhappy for grinning later on... hehe... tho' i'm still unhappy about the way we are seen by some italics... we are supposed to be part of the h2g2 community... we MIGHT have to remind them about it one of these days...

Thank you for the info. 360 is a hit and miss with me, I have several methods of accessing long threads.
Click on to the recent reply if that does not work then do the below.
Go the last posting and click on to it.
If still no luck, click on to the last thread number, ie 186 it can take up to six times before it works.
Another method is go to previous threads and the when at the end of the postings in that press next, keep on doing this until you get to the thread you want.
Go the contributors homepage and click on to the posting there.
When you see the dread blue box appear press orange and the okay, then if you are in the posting anyway you can then scroll down.
I learnt the above by trial and error.

It seems that certain people rightly or wrongly, may not want us here.

It could be a sense of elitism, that only multi-media users should have access to h2g2.

It could also be that some people do not want our views aired as they feel that only their veiws should be aired, thus we are considerd to be a thorn in their side,

Some people are so used to having their veiws and opinions unchallenged that they resent anyone disagreeing with them Volitare said once I may disagree of whar you say but I will fight for the right for you to say it.
These are onlt my opinions and therefore could be wrong, who knows.
